This month's spotlight is on SSA Member and anchor exhibitor Bedding Technology Industries (BTI). BTI has been exhibiting in the SSA Showroom since 2012, when Curtis Spain and Shel Guo and their team displayed with the SSA in High Point as well as Las Vegas.

BTI has grown to become a major supplier of mattress springs, nonwovens, insulator pads, and cut foam in addition to its manufacturing of wooden mattress foundations.

Bedding Technology Industries (BTI) is a minority-owned company which was founded in 2005. It began distributing metal bed frames, but quickly added additional products utilizing its vast network of overseas relationships and already-established offshore resources.

Using a thoughtful, deliberate, and streamlined approach, it did not take long for BTI to become firmly entrenched as a major manufacturer, importer and distributor in the industry supplying products nationwide.

BTI has also developed its own private label “Homepedic” product line of memory foam and hybrid mattresses, pillows, mattress protectors and encasements. Container programs are offered for these, and all, of BTI’s “Homepedic” label of items.

To further serve the industry, BTI additionally offers container programs for metal beds, platform bases, and power beds.
