April
16, 2009 - Everton
Mattress has joined
Therapedic International, as
the licensee covering Idaho,
Utah, much of Montana, eastern
Oregon, and the northeastern
part of Nevada. The licensee
will operate as Therapedic-Idaho
for the top ten mattress
producer.
Everton Mattress has been a
Restonic licensee since 1972 and
intends to continue with that
brand. The company has been
doing business in Idaho and the
surrounding areas since 1925.
“To have Therapedic as an
additional brand will help us
better serve our customers,”
said Steve Everton, president of
Everton Mattress. “We are very
enthused about the possibilities
it presents for us,” he said.
The addition of Everton gives
Therapedic a greater presence in
the Northwest, said Gerry
Borreggine, president/CEO of
Therapedic. “With Idaho added to
our Seattle and San Francisco
operations we now have the
strength, like never before, to
sell and service larger regional
accounts in the Northwest region
of the country,” said
Borreggine.
Chris Sanders, vice president of
Everton, noted that he was
excited to be joining one of the
industry’s fastest growing
brands. “We are, also, very
excited to join as a partner to
the Kathy Ireland Home brand,”
said Chris Sanders, vice
president of Everton Mattress.
Sanders also announced the
hiring of Todd Scheidt as sales
manager for Everton. Scheidt had
previously been a key account
manager for Therapedic in
Missouri.
Scheidt echoed Sanders
sentiments regarding Kathy
Ireland Home. “Kathy Ireland
Home by Therapedic has a great
appeal to retailers. I am
looking forward to introducing
Therapedic and Kathy Ireland
Home to the Idaho territory,” he
said.
