Beautyrest® Pocketed Coil® Club website, an online
gathering place for sales associates interested in
finding new and better ways to sell more Simmons
Beautyrests and the brand’s Pocketed Coil springs.
www.PocketedCoilClub.com, the world’s only club
devoted to selling more mattresses, was developed as
part of Simmons’ ongoing efforts to provide inventive
career development opportunities to the company’s retail
sales associates.
 “We’ve designed the Beautyrest Pocketed Coil Club to
be a virtual classroom entirely dedicated and focused on
our retail sales associates,” said Tim Oakhill, Simmons
Executive Vice President of Marketing. “It’s the only

Sweepstakes, running today through March 31, tests RSAs’
knowledge of the Pocketed Coil spring for a weekly
chance to win a new Beautyrest NXG® mattress and to be
entered for a grand prize of $5,000. The site also
offers a Coil Calculator that allows sales
 associates to
determine how many Beautyrest Pocketed Coil springs they
have sold, highlighting sales success at all levels.

Pocketed Coil springs and provided consumers with over
246 billion nights of Beautyrest,” said Oakhill.
Amassing the number of Pocketed Coils sold in
Beautyrest history was no easy task. Though the
Beautyrest Pocketed Coil originated in 1925, annual
reports and sales numbers weren’t published until 1929 –
meaning the baseline number of 37 billion Pocketed Coils
sold, which is used in a trade advertising campaign, is
