Magniflex today announced
that more than 100 designers
have become Magniflex affiliates
as a result of the company
presenting its Interior Designer
Affiliate Program at the
International Contemporary
Furniture Fair (ICFF) last
month. The company is now
expanding the discount program
for designers to include
additional discounts for
retailers seeking to partner
with designers in their local
market.
“Designers have been frequenting
Magniflex and other luxury
bedding brands because their
clients are looking for bedding
that is both unique and rich in
performance features,” said
Marco Magni, global sales
director for Magniflex. “They no
longer want an anonymous white
rectangle, but rather enjoy and
appreciate the benefits of our
aromatherapy products or our
very distinctive ‘metals’
collection of silver, gold and
platinum.”
The program offers designers and
retailers wholesale prices on a
full range of eco-friendly
mattress collections for three
months, followed by 30-percent
discount thereafter. Now, any
retailers who work with a
participating designer may
receive additional discounts at
any time. Magniflex is promoting
this extension of the program to
help protect retailers’ margins.
More than 80 leading designers
from across the U.S. and Canada
signed on with the discount
program during ICFF. They
consisted of professionals from
a diverse array of backgrounds,
from designers with celebrity
clientele to a retailer who
ordered GeoEthic mattresses for
the designer of a boutique hotel
in New York.
Designers are invited to visit
the Magniflex showroom at 59
Crosby St. in Manhattan with
clients, to sample the company’s
range of
environmentally-friendly,
specialty mattresses and
pillows. Outside of New York,
Magniflex is available at retail
locations nationwide; select
retail dealers are listed in the
Showroom Locator feature on
www.Magniflex.us.
All participants receive
Magniflex’s guaranteed five-day
delivery time directly to
consumers’ homes for one low,
flat rate. Once an order is
placed, Magniflex delivers the
mattress directly to consumers
through its low-cost Quick Ship
capability -- only $45 for a
queen mattress to the 48
contiguous U.S. states.
Magniflex has also begun
shipping to Alaska, Puerto Rico
and Hawaii, and is promoting
complimentary shipping to all of
U.S. and Canada for any 10-piece
orders.
All Magniflex mattresses may be
shipped vacuum-rolled and
compressed by up to 90 percent,
providing consumers and
retailers greater convenience
during the delivery process.
Besides saving money during
shipping, vacuum-packing
significantly lowers the
product’s overall carbon
footprint.
Magniflex previewed select
models from its Classic and
GeoEthic Collections at ICFF. Of
note are the Bellagio Lavender
mattress ($2,699/Queen)
featuring a removable cover
infused with essential oils of
lavender to contribute to deep,
relaxing sleep, and the SeaCell
Emotion mattress ($4,499/Queen)
which has a
temperature-regulating cover
containing microscopic particles
of marine algae fiber to aid in
cellular regeneration.
The mattress cores are made of
high performance water- and
plant-based memory foam
materials developed by
Magniflex. The retail price of
most Magniflex collections
ranges from $999 to $4,499 in
queen.
Magniflex mattresses are made
with non-toxic, renewable and
organic materials as part of the
