August 14, 2009 - Following the
realignment of its
direct-to-retail sleep accessory
brands and their supporting
organizations under the
management of
Leggett & Platt’s Consumer
Products Group, the company
announces several position
changes and promotions. These
changes will support CPG in
acting as L&P’s retail arm in
the sleep industry, with a focus
on helping retailers market
sleep-related products and
improving their performance.
Randy Long
A 23-year-veteran of Leggett &
Platt, Randy Long has been
promoted to the newly created
position of director of sales.
His responsibilities will
include the oversight of all
domestic and international sales
of L&P CPG’s expanding portfolio
of sleep-related products and
services. Reporting to Long will
be five regional vice presidents
of sales and the director of
retail sales training.
Long was formerly the vice
president of sales for the
northeast region of L&P CPG, and
will continue in that role in
addition to his new
responsibilities. Long and his
wife, Nicky, along with their
five children, will continue to
reside in Elmer,
N.J.
Della Emory
Formerly the sales director,
marketing and alternative
channels for L&P’s adjustable
bed division, Emory will expand
her role in the newly created
position of vice president of
sales – Leggett & Platt® Retail
Solution™ and adjustable bed
marketing. Emory will facilitate
the roll out of Leggett & Platt
Retail Solution nationwide. She
will continue to reside in
Carthage, Mo.
Zach Woods
Zach Woods has been promoted
from sales representative to
vice president of sales –
western region. His
responsibilities will include
sales for the eleven western
states with twelve
representatives reporting to
him; Woods will report to Randy
Long. He and his wife, Aya,
currently reside in northern
California, but will eventually
relocate to the CPG regional
offices near Los Angeles.
Brian Croft
Formerly the director of U.S.
retail sales for the adjustable
bed division, Brian Croft will
expand his role in the newly
created position of director of
retail sales training for the
realigned CPG. Croft leads a
group of ten retail sales
performance coaches who will now
train on all CPG product
categories, while helping
retailers maximize
opportunities; Croft will also
report to Randy Long. He will
continue to reside in Carthage,
Mo.

to capitalize on the strengths
of our sales organization and
retail sales training team,”

L&P’s Consumer Products Group.

of high performers to help our
retail customers improve
performance during tough
economic times,” said Woods.
