Furniture show February 9 to 13,

Remote Control: Thin as Your
‘Blackberry’
The new wireless remote is
sleek, black, and as thin as a
Blackberry handheld. Easy to
read graphics allow the user to
operate the power base and
massage units with reduced eye
strain. The control will enhance
the overall system’s eye appeal.
“We are striving to have the
smartest-looking power base in
the industry,” Ergomotion
President Kelly Clenet said.
“Ergomotion has a European look.
Aesthetic appeal is important to
us. We’re trying to appeal to
consumers who are used to the
high-styles found in their
iBooks and flat screen TV’s.
This is believed to be the
slimmest controller in the
business.”
Economy and Top-Of-the-Line
Bases Added
Ergomotion will introduce its
new Series 100 power base, an
economy model designed to meet
lower retail price points. It
features a single heavy-duty
motor. It is expected to retail
at $599 (Twin Long). The company
will also show its new top of
the line power base. The Series
400 with Nuvo Visco Attachment
System will retail between
$2,999 to $3,499 (King) which
includes a 10”visco mattress,
and recessed –in-mattress Nuvo
Massage System.
