The Specialty Sleep
Association (SSA) showroom had strong retail
traffic in August 2010, close to the same number
of stores as last Summer Market. The premier
advocacy organization promoting the category
of specialty sleep said that, according to
bedding companies at the market, buyer
traffic and interest was “as good, if not
better, than most other showrooms.”
“Our members told us that
traffic and interest was quite brisk in our space through Wednesday,” said SSA
President Dale Read. “Hundreds of retailers shopped our showroom on the first
three days and we even had traffic right up through midday Thursday.” Companies
who exhibit in the SSA showroom all get a copy of the list of retailer stores
who visit during market.
This is a valuable tool, and “one of the
reasons we keep our space in the showroom”,
says Stephen Antsy of XSENSOR Technologies. |
